There are quite a few bikes that are slated to be launched in the Indian market over the next few days. Almost all major brands are gearing up to their bike launch. Honda CBR650R

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) is all geared up to launch the Honda CBR650R in India. The model is introduced with a new name and feature upgrades. The bike has a different intake as well as exhaust engine. The new design has allowed the company to shed almost 5 kg of overall weight, thus proving beneficial to the bike performance.

The updated upcoming version has a 5% more output with regards to the previous models. It boasts of an in-line four cylinder engine of 649 ccs. The engine has an increased torque of 64Nm and boasts of peak power to the tune of 93bhp. The new edition is more ergonomic and has a heightened sense of sports appeal according to the company and the latest bike reviews. Its price is expected to be somewhere around 7.5 to 8.0 Lakh.

Kawasaki ZX-6R

Kawasaki ZX-6R, a much-hyped and critically acclaimed ZX-6R is all set to launch in India. Almost all new bike reviews are discussing its updated electronics and a revamp in the design. Updated decals, LED headlights, and an altogether new face design render the bike aesthetically appealing. The engine is a 636 cc, in-line four cylinders, capable of generating 128 bhp at a 13,500 rpm. The cost of the bike is yet unknown, but it is expected to be below the 10 lakh mark.

Ducati Hypermotard 950

After the well-received Ducati Hypermotard 939, Ducati India will soon launch Ducati Hypermotard 950. The successor in the Ducati line of bikes, Hypermotard 950 has more power and torque, and fully updated electronics. The engine has also been updated and now boasts of 937 ccs with a power rating of 114 bhp at 9,000 rpm and peak torque at 96 Nm. Globally the bike will be available in two variants, however, it is unclear whether Ducati India will introduce both the variants in India. The bike is expected to be priced somewhere between Rs 11 – 12 Lakh.

The competition in the bikes segment in India is pushing manufacturers to update and introduce enhanced bikes, which is benefitting the Indian customers. With all these superbikes slated to launch in India, the customers are expected to be spoilt for choice.
