Mahindra has recently launched the XUV300 in the Indian market, the design of which is inspired by its elder brother, XUV500. Here is a quick review of what the latest zig-wheels from Mahindra has to offer to us.
Design
The XUV300 shares the same platform as SsangYong Tivoli, Mahindra’s Korean brand. Mahindra claims to have been inspired by Cheetah, in terms of Mahindra XUV300 design. The design is quite edgy and stylish, with slim grille in the front accentuated by LED projector headlamps. The rear is installed with smart tail lamps and an integrated spoiler on the roof.

Engine Specifications
The Mahindra XUV300 has been launched with petrol as well as diesel engine options. The petrol engine is 1.2-litre turbocharged one while the diesel engine is a 1.5-litre unit. The petrol engine churns out 110PS of power and 200Nm torque. The diesel engine produces 115PS power and the torque at 300Nm. Both the engines are offered with 6-speed manual transmission. In addition, the diesel engine is also available with an AMT gearbox.
Mileage is ranged between 17KMPL and 20KMPL for both the engines.
Interior
The stylish XUV300’s interiors are spacious, comfortable and convenient for the users. The black and beige interior is coupled with leather upholstery, making it a perfect mix of comfort and style. The front seats are also incorporated with padding on sides to avoid sliding around during sharp turns. It is also the first car in this segment to offer power windows in all four doors as a standard. Moreover, middle-seat passengers have the option of adjustable headrest!
