There will be lots of changes from the KUV100 to make the exterior and interior give off the vibes of an electric vehicle. The 'filler' caps on the front fenders can be seen as examples. The new motor would make 40kW compared to 31 kW produced by the sedan. The peak torque output would be 120 Nm. The battery can be charged in 5.75 hours on a regular charger and in 55 minutes on a fast charger. The maximum driving range of the car is about 20 km. Tata Tigor EV

Amongst the latest car launch review, Tata Tigor EV made headlines when Tata Motors promised to supply 10,000 units to the government. The car is not available to the customers directly, though they can try out the vehicles through car-hire services. If you ignore the stickers and badges of the EV, it will look very similar to the regular Tata Tigors. The larger modifications lie under the bonnet. There is no combustion engine in the car, but a 3-phase AC induction motor that occupies the engine bay. The car has an AC charging socket as well. The cabin will have the same neat dashboard and the chunky seats. The gear selector looks like the automatic variants, and the difference can be noticed on the instrument console.

These cars not only offer great performance but ensure a greener and cleaner environment for the people. The vehicles offer more than just comfortable riding and good agility.
