BMW 3 Series: Crossing the Hedge of leisure and Charisma
BMW 3 Series made its debut in 1975, and with the units sold to more than 15 million families across the world, BMW is set to revive the exact charisma with 7th Generation 3 Series.
So what makes the new 3 Series arguably among the best ‘Sheer Driving Pleasure’? Let’s have a look:
1. What’s new in features
The all-new 3 Series flaunts an impressive design and classy look and feel upgrades.
The sedan lovers can’t look over the large BMW kidney grille; slim three-dimensional L-shaped LED taillights and two tailpipes.
The company has added longer wheelbase, short overhangs, and distinctive spoiler to the list of upgraded features as well. The other features include 12.3-inch digital display, 10.25-inch control display, wireless Apple CarPlay, and wireless charging, along with park assistant with a rear view camera, three-zone control auto air conditioning, ambient lighting, and a glass sunroof.
While going under the makeover, the car now feels lighter by 55 kilograms. The cabin is spacious. Drivers can enjoy BMW Virtual Assistant as the voice recognition feature in the latest BMW 3 Series as well.
2. The hedge of engine performance
While the advanced features cross the aces, the power engine brings a new hedge to the new 3 Series. The sedan offers the 2-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine.
With the engine churning out 258 hp and 400 Nm of torque you can reach the speed of 100Kmpl from idle in just 5.8 seconds.
Then, the diesel engine with 2-litre, 4-cylinder engine delivers 190 hp and churns out 400 Nm of torque. The diesel engine, however, takes a little longer with 6.8 seconds to reach 100 kmph on speed meter. Both the engines come paired with an 8-speed Steptronic Sport auto-transmission.
3. World-class safety measures
There’s no doubt for a mean BMW car price, every BMW car is endowed with the best-in-class safety measures, and the new BMW 3 Series is certainly no exception. You get to drive your brand-new sedan home with safety features such as six airbags, side-impact protection, DSC (Dynamic Stability Control), which includes CBC (Cornering Brake Control), attentiveness assistance, electric parking brake with auto hold, electronic vehicle immobilizer and crash sensor, and ISOFIX and integrated emergency spare wheel. And these are just a few features that the company offers in the new 3 Series.
Over the 45 years, the 3 Series BMW has undoubtedly made its mark of being among the oldest yet still modern, alive and hitting the roads as new. However, the story will be incomplete without mentioning the millions of BMW car owners worldwide. To them for the BMW 3 Series price in India, the 2019 3 Series is ‘one smart-looking sedan’ with a spacious cabin and powerful engine under the hood. Take it from these generations of 3 Series buyers and take one step further to get your own smart sedan home.
